Here's what we were up to in 2013 ...
October - December

October

Big family celebration for Gamma (Sylvia's mother, Ingrid). 80th birthday festivities in Dallas and San Antonio. Emily and Alex are both able to participate.

After trips earlier in the year to Chicago twice, Seattle, and Texas locations including the valley, this month Sylvia travels to St. Louis and Portand for her presentations.

Once again Russell participates in First United's German/English worship service for Reformation Day.

November

Emily turns 30! And the 'rents visit her in North Carolina later in the week. They even tackle Segways

Russell creates and judges trivia night for Lutheran campus ministry's fundraiser

Sylvia goes to Boston

Ingrid has her pacemaker replaced.

Emily and Alex home for Thanksgiving and to say good-bye to Tante Hanni who returns to Australia.

December

Russell cancels a Sunday service because of ice

Russell turns 60 (who believes that) and Sylvia surprises him with a trip to Kansas City -- two presidential libraries, a Jesse James Gang Bank robbery site, National World War I museum, the Hallmark museum; what more could you want? Oh, yes, they also went to the Kansas Wizard of OZ museum!

Sylvia turns 58 but she plans the day!

Good to see the Lawsons and Grahams as the year closes.

We do not quite see 100 movies this year (only 92!).
