Big family celebration for Gamma (Sylvia's mother, Ingrid). 80th birthday festivities in Dallas and San Antonio. Emily and Alex are both able to participate.
After trips earlier in the year to Chicago twice, Seattle, and Texas locations including the valley, this month Sylvia travels to St. Louis and Portand for her presentations.
Once again Russell participates in First United's German/English worship service for Reformation Day.

Russell cancels a Sunday service because of ice
Russell turns 60 (who believes that) and Sylvia surprises him with a trip to Kansas City -- two presidential libraries, a Jesse James Gang Bank robbery site, National World War I museum, the Hallmark museum; what more could you want? Oh, yes, they also went to the Kansas Wizard of OZ museum!
Sylvia turns 58 but she plans the day!
Good to see the Lawsons and Grahams as the year closes.
