Emily continues studying for a PhD in Information Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Alex (after graduating in December with a BS) began a Masters program at Texas State University in San Marcos, majoring in Sociology
Russell (still Pastor at First United Lutheran Church in Dallas) also starts another year as Dean and Instructor for the Parish Lay Mission Academy
Sylvia and Russell attend NBA game to see the Dallas Mavericks
Saw first play of nine for year, including two Shakespeare in the Park
Russell flies to Wittenberg Germany to join 16 others pastors and professors (2 more USA, 1 Canada, 2 Sweden, 1 Denmark, 1 Latvia, 4 Africa, 1 Palestine, 2 Asia, 2 South America) from around the world to study Martin Luther, sponsored by the Lutheran World Federation
