Our wonderful children gave us "Gloabl Entry" as a Christmas present. We got them early, so we could TRAVEL this year!
The year continued quietly until Sylvia headed for the American Library Association meeting in Seattle (the first of many meetings, committees, presentations, and conferences for the year!) while Russell went to the Tri-Synodical Gathering of pastors in Galveston.

Russell found a great surprsie at one of the many estate sales we shop regularly. Can you believe this haul of Star Wars toys? 
New Daytrippers group at church journeys to Waco for a tour of the Dr. Pepper Museum and the Silo area of Chip and Joanna Gaines
Then finish the month by heading for Switzerland and Italy -- Stopping to see Sylvia's cousin Doerte and her family in Bern 
then on to Sylvia's IBBY meeting in Bologna and touring North Central and Northeast Italy, including Ferrari Museum
