Back in Dallas, ew checked out the downtown outdoor art installation exhibition. Is that the eye of Texas upon us? At the end of the month, we joined in the 100th Anniversary Service for First United Lutheran Church, from where Russell recently retired.
We started this month off in proper Star Wars fashion. The next day, we celebrated the successful eye surgery of our long-time friends, Bill Lawson, his wife Diana, as well as Lee and Arlene Graham.
Then Mid-May we flew to Detroit to help with Clara care, while her moms attended the Medical Librarians Association meeting. Ingrid then had a rough health scare We welcomed Ingrid home from rehab and once she was settled, we headed off to Olathe to see the Granddaughter for her birthday and, of course, her parents (Emily and Brenda) and the other grandparents plus Brenda's sister, Iveth :-)
After returning to Dallas, on June 28th, we celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary! And then we headed West for Sylvia to join her Pomelo Books partner, Janet Wong, in Washington for a gathering of their poets and to see Janet's new house.

With her safely in rehab, Sylvia and Russell began searching in Oklahoma City for a Condo. OKC is now home for Alex and Melissa and is almost halfway between Dallas and Olathe.
